Tourist trap! High prices and very mis, managed. I saw five people walk out ( two groups) .Tiki bar manager was rude. Such a shame , this could be a really great place! I'm sure it is expensive rent with the pool and Marina there but they won't last long with the way they handle customers.

Super friendly staff and the most tender pork I'd had in a restaurant! I travel A LOT for work and always like to find little hard to find or local hangouts and this is definitely it. Very reasonable prices, about 60% what I expected and very very filling. Get the jerk pork and you won't go wrong!

It's a decent place. If you are up tight and in a hurry you may just wanna pass it on by. Good burger Good view I like it.

Tyler B from Nashville got it right. I ordred the Jerk Chicken Nachos and as someone who smokes meat for a living... this meat was never smoked and if it was.. definitely not for "12 hours" as they say on their menu. On top of it.. the jerk chicken had no real taste to it. Service was okay.. our waiter was a little odd but not in a terrible way. The view was okay. It's mainly the back shipyard of a marina.. had a view forklifts drive right by our table. With all the places to go in PCB... won't be going here again.

Absurd wait times, food OK but overpriced. This place is only successful due to its proximity to the marina. It could never make it otherwise. Took an hour to receive our food and that was after 35 min they came and told us they were out of oysters which certainly happens sometimes but they could have told us when we ordered. Then they botched the check and double-charged us. All that just on a weekday for lunch when they weren't even crowded. Ridiculous. Try Dat Cajun place or Patches Pub instead. Scampy's is only marginally better.

Food was decent. I would give the service an F. Asked for a manager and the manager never even had to courtesy to come talk to me. Would NOT recommend.

We went in an hour before closing, and the place was dead. That should've been my first clue... On their drink menu, they mention the option of ordering your margarita on the rocks or frozen in flavors such as lime, strawberry, etc. I ordered a lime margarita on the rocks. The server brought a bud light lime a Rita and poured it over ice....... I went to the bar and got a real margarita which honestly wasn't that much better than a lime a Rita. I got the jerk chicken with a side salad and sautéed vegetables. The chicken wasn't tender or falling off the bone like you would expect for chicken "smoked 12 hours". I couldn't even cut it with my fork and knife. I had to pull it off the bone, and it was chewy. The "sautéed vegetables" were frozen vegetables that were thrown in the microwave and the house coconut citrus vinaigrette was just weird. It tasted artificial. The only reason this place got 2 stars instead of one is because my husbands rice and beans were delicious. (The curried chicken not so much. Sauce was good but chicken was breaded and dry.) Also, our server was sweet even if she misunderstood the drink I wanted. Definitely wouldn't go back here again.

Food was good and drinks cool and refreshing. Rachel did a great job outside making sure everything was to our liking. Really enjoyed the jerk chicken nachos. Chicken was super good juicy and loaded the nachos with everything. Kids and adults finished everything we had. Def be back when in town. Also the outside pool was great for the kids to play in before the meals came out and even better to let us adults eat and enjoy talk after the meal. Side note is its tucked into a marina so the atmosphere to me was nice in watching boats and letting kids walk the docks after our meal.

Crab cake appetizers were the best I've ever eaten!! Best in Panama City Beach so far! The Jerk Chicken was a little spicy but I knew that going in, it had a great flavor. I had never eaten Caribbean food before so I don't have anything to compare it too, but that was some great chicken! I'm a lover of Seafood so for me those Crab Cakes stole the show!!!!!!! and the Chocolate cake - YUM, YUM!!!!!!!

We have been a few times for my son to swim in the pool while we grabbed lunch. The burger is good, large patty and the bun doesn't fall apart. the childrens fish is tasty and a good portion. Haven't been for dinner yet, but the service and food each time we have been was great! Absolutely intend on more visits!

Not only is this place overpriced but the manager is rude... The portions were so small my 10 year old was hungry when she finished her meal... Save your money really

Give it a try , a great turn around ! Bring your own fish for hook&cook. Mahi Mahi was great. Bring kids and let them swim when you eat or drink.

Nothing special. Could be a really great place but not run very well. My guess is they won't be in business for long when everything is just average at best.

Good jerk chicken. Pretty view of the harbor. There is also a pool if you wanted to take a dip. I had no problems with service. Casual restaurant.

Friendly bartender and manager who greeted me. Ordered food to go which was super fast, but the place was dead and kind of sterile. Most patrons were outside eating in the back so I suggest they bring guests into the restaurants where they first see others guests actually dining and not that of a broken down salad bar. Felt like closing time. I everything was over cooked and way over seasoned. I can't even taste my grouper through the jerk and my sautéed green beans taste exactly like my salty carrots.

Well... We wanted to try out the buffet but it ended at 1:30 and well the food was still out even after 2:30. I got a frozen drink and it was okay. You need to drink 10 of them to enjoy yourself kind of okay. Nothing like what you would get at Schooners or Runaway Island. Food was okay. I think this place is more of an attraction for the location and the pool. It is very touristy. I feel like they don't have an appreciation for giving the public or locals good quality. The service was excellent and the restaurant was nice. Only thing that saved the whole visit was the chicken wings. The Caribbean jerk flavoring is wonderful and they cook them nice and toasty. Other than that... meh. If you are wanting a good view of million dollar boats then head over but if you are a local looking for a good place... no.

This is a great place for kids, they can swim if you dine by the pool. The food is average, our waitress we really nice. We had large party and the were quick to get us a table. We were there just before they closed but it didn't seem to bother them, they didn't rush us.

Food was the worst I have ever had in PC! The crab cakes and shrimp were raw inside with batter still runny when you bit into it. Waited 40 minutest in food.

Super cute place. Went beginning of April. Server, manager and hostess all very friendly Buffalo wings really good. Kids liked the pool right next to outdoor seating. Went on a Friday night and the band playing was fantastic. Beach music. We enjoyed ourselves

Ok food. Nothing special. My favorite menu item - Caribbean Wings - was taken off. Good location with cool pool on Grand Lagoon and tiki bar. Good place for drinks. Nice owner who is always present. I will support as a local restaurant.

Very disappointed!! We took our fish to have them prepare it. The sides were horrible. One person was waiting on the entire restaurant at 1:00 pm.

Really bad service....took forever to get drinks...food had items left off, the jerk is a joke...purely blackened...waitress said they didnt expect the traffic...its memorial day weekend in PCB....no excuse...we wont be back.

Great location but terrible service. Took 90 minutes to get a salad with jerked chicken and a cheese burger. Drinks and refills including water were nonexistent. The only positive thing was the entertainment - Brian was great. This restaurant has good possibilities but if management doesn't get it together it will end up like its predecessors, Dock Hoppers and Tacky Jacks. Garry O.

I get so irritated with restaurants that have a theme but can't execute on it. This place is supposed to be Caribbean fare but it's obviously confused trying to get the tourists in the door and doesn't know how to go about it. We had two house dishes that were nothing but blackened salt licks. Hey, Runaway Bay - pare back your menu - you are doing too much and none of it is good. Decide what you're going to be and then make it great.

I really like this place. It's cute, they have a lot of great things going for them. A neat marina front location, a pool and tiki bar and lots of parking and seating space. Their menu is decent but there's nothing outstanding about the selection. It's easy to miss when driving down Thomas Drive, only one sign advertises them and it's way up in the air. I wish that they'd find something special and go for it... this little place has been so many different places to eat and nothing ever sticks. The food is good but like i said, nothing to draw people in. It's the same menu that you can get up & down the beach. Maybe change it up a bit and do 'high end tiki bar/beach food' - something a little different than everyone else to draw the foodies in. The service was great but sadly, at 7pm we were the only people in the whole place. I know it's after 'season' - but it just seems sad that no one goes here! Give this place a try when you are visiting!! I hope to see them still open when i return next summer.

Loved the raw oysters! Felt bad that the waiter had to shuck them. We had the Jamaican drink with rum, but taste like it had no rum in it.
